Church Web Traffic Consulting

Over a four month period we will consult and provide guidance in the 12 key areas which are described in detail below.

From a web traffic measurement perspective:

We guide you toward effectively deploying analytics and creating web traffic dashboards so that you can measure progress toward web traffic generation goals. Web traffic measurement is done early on so we can benchmark your organization’s current traffic levels.

From a conversion tracking perspective:

We make specific suggestions on improvements that will lead website visitors to take desired action such as register, subscribe, join, or buy. Do you use Landing Pages with specific calls-to-action? Do you use Google and Facebook conversion code? Have you been using retargeting code? Because if you haven’t, we place code on your website. We do this early on because time is of the essence in tracking website visitors.

From a fundraising/online giving perspective:

We examine your church or organization’s online giving software, and also check it for effectiveness by examining the user experience to look for any possible donation process disrupters and provide concrete action items if we encounter any friction points. This is done first because of the reality that every organization needs cash inflows to carry out their ministry.

From a web advertising perspective:

We also consult with your organization and create a comprehensive Web Advertising Plan that sets up the infrastructure and provides you with specific guidance on Google Display, Google Search, Facebook and Instagram, and YouTube advertising channels and budgets. We do this early on so your church or organization is positioned to promote any event, ministry, sermon series or activity on short notice.

From a user experience perspective:

We take a hard look at your website as outsiders and we answer important questions like does your website fit the branding of your church or organization? Does your website play to your target audience? Can we easily find the most important information first? Are you effectively using video content? Do the pictures you have on your website accurately represent your true audience?

From a story telling perspective:

We determine whether your website tells your organization’s most compelling, life changing stories and deliberately guides your team toward generating high quality content that tells those stories.

From a Google Tools perspective:

We evaluate if your website is technically optimized. Our first step is to conduct a Website Audit. We research the keywords that your website (and each page within your website) is to be optimized to. You can find out what keywords your church website is currently optimized for with our Keyword Analyzer tool. We check to make sure you are properly utilizing all Google Tools including Google Analytics, Google Places, Google+, Google Search Console (Formerly Webmaster Tools), and YouTube. We also check the site structure for h1 tags, meta-descriptions, links, blog structure, text, site-map, and keywords within the written copy. In addition, we also check to see if all images are labeled correctly.

From a content development perspective:

We consult to see what forms of video, audio, educational and textual content are currently being generated and make sure they are tagged and posted in a manner that increases your website’s relevancy and authority as viewed by Google’s Penguin Algorithm. We break down each page and give you a plan to update them, and we also provide you with guides for writing the content for each page that include the keywords for each page and other guidelines. Lastly, we make sure your content is in compliance with Google’s content guidelines, and also provide guidance on appropriate link building to improve your website’s compliance the Google’s Algorithm including Google RankBrain.

From a mobile perspective:

We check to make sure your website looks good on all tablets and smart phones and identify any pages that need to be fixed.

From a Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) point of view:

We make sure your Social Media strategies are consistent with your web optimization strategy and provide a baseline Social Media Plan. We make sure you have deployed Social sharing widgets such as Like, Follow, Share, Send, and Quote Widgets.

From an internal traffic perspective:

We guide you toward running all possible internal web traffic through your website. This entails planning for your content to be hosted within your domain.

From an email perspective:

We evaluate your opt-in and send infrastructure to make sure it gains recipient permission, directs traffic to your website, provides social media connectivity, and also contains retargeting code.
