Church Communications Coach (Project Manager)
We are seeking an experienced Church Communications Coach, who has worked in a communications department at a church, to serve church clients on behalf of our digital agency. In this role, you’ll spend approximately 30% of your time as an actual church communications director for our communications outsourcing clients, and 70% of your time performing typical account management responsibilities, such as reporting on campaign performance in client meetings, selling digital services, participating in regular sales meetings or training, and carrying out administrative duties in our CRM. For some of our clients, you'll develop and oversee the communications department. For all of our clients, you’ll guide their marketing strategies to ensure their digital goals are met, acting as their primary point of contact for Missional Marketing.
This position is full-time and 100% remote with the possibility of occasional travel. Benefits include a health insurance offering and PTO.
Job responsibilities include:
- Weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly Zoom meetings with our partner churches to determine client needs and share the results of our products and services
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive digital strategy for assigned church clients leveraging our products and services
- Oversight of the church’s overall communications strategy and direction of communications staff or supporting production coordinators as needed
- Oversight of the client's online presence and consistent identification of areas for improvement
- Ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of digital strategies in use with the discussion of metrics such as website or ad conversion rates
- Creation and maintenance of positive, long-term relationships with church clients built on trust and understanding
- Timely completion of administrative duties in our Salesforce CRM, such as sending proposals, documenting client meetings, and setting follow-up appointments or tasks
- Participation in regular sales meetings and trainings
Candidates will possess the following requirements:
- Extensive background or a degree in marketing and communications
- Extensive knowledge of how a church communications department functions
- Extensive knowledge of how a church promotes events, sermon series, conferences, and the church in general
- Confidence in addressing budgetary concerns and guiding financial decisions
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Strong understanding of Google tools, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
- Experience in a supervisory role
- A demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers

WordPress Developer
We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities include
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality into custom themes/plugins
- Establishing and guiding a website’s WordPress architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

Full Stack .NET Developer
We are seeking a full stack .NET developer who will be responsible for maintaining existing proprietary web applications, as well as contributing to new development projects using the .NET stack. Additionally, this role is likely to be asked to contribute to development for the ROCK RMS platform, which is itself a .NET Webforms application.
This position will be required to touch the entirety of complex web applications, from their front-end UX through to the database schema and webserver configuration.
Required Qualifications
- Be a detail oriented critical thinker and problem solver.
- Knowledge of front-end web fundaments such as HTML5, CSS, and Javascript (including jQuery).
- Experience working with the ASP.NET stack, including the (now legacy) ASP.NET Webforms architecture.
- Fluency in C#. Experience working with VB.NET would be a bonus, but is not required.
- Experience working with SQL databases and MSSQL server.
- Knowledge of Windows Server configuration using IIS. Experience working with AWS and Azure would be preferred, but is not required.
- Ability to write clean, well documented code.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management (git), build processes, and testing.

Graphic Designer
We're seeking a graphic designer to join our team and apply professional design principles to the creation of print, sales and marketing materials, website content, email content, and other graphic products in all mediums.

UX Designer
This position works to create innovative and intuitive website experiences for churches that hire us to build their new website. This position works directly with the design leadership, as well as front-end and back-end developers/engineering. This role will be responsible for taking ideas from rough sketches to generating a complete website design.
Our ideal candidate:
- Prioritizes and manages work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Works whiteboard sketches to full high fidelity digital experiences including responsive web, native mobile, and emerging digital solutions.
- Delivers modern and accessible digital experiences across a variety of platforms by creating user journeys, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, annotations and other deliverables
- Clearly communicates the UX strategy for each page and user journey.
- Successfully communicates conceptual ideas and design rationale with a strong emphasis on CTA’s.
- Collaborates with managers, front end developers, software engineers, and fellow designers to craft the best product for the church.
- Develops, maintains, and upholds interactive style guides, design systems, and enterprise standards to assure continuity of experience across digital products for the client.

Minimum Qualifications

Facebook Advertising Specialist
As we run Facebook campaigns for our church clients, this position handles everything from building the ads to ensuring that goals were met and everything in-between. We manage many Facebook campaigns every month and this is an environment that constantly changes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an entire Facebook campaign from beginning to end.
- Work with the creative team to make sure the graphics/video are on point and they target the right audience.
- Stay current on the ever-changing world of Facebook.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of digital sales/account management experience is a must
